Brief Bio

A citizen of Allentown, Pennsylvania, trumpeter Rick Braun first appeared as a participant of the jazz-fusion clothing Auracle, formed while he was a student at the prominent Eastman School of Music. After 2 LPs the team disbanded, and Braun counted on songwriting, racking up a fined REO Speedwagon's "Here with Me;" in time he directed his concentration to modern jazz, issuing his solo launching Intimate Keys in 1993. After exploring with Sade, he returned in 1994 with Evening Stroll as well as the seasonal release Xmas Present. With 1995's Beat Street, Braun's popularity continued to snowball, with 1996's wreck Body and also Soul releasing the NAC chart-topper "Notorious." A two-time victor… view full →
